Model: Tapo H500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 202550409 Rel 57629

Brand new H500 security system in a box. When I try to connect th D235 doorbell, its not listed as an option. Doorbell just flashes red/green and cannot be seen.

The hub also fails ot show the C460 solar powered camera.

Are the items faulty ?

Much thanks

The network source for both Tapo D235 and C460 is router 2.4GHz WiFi. They're not Tapo SubGHz devices, so they cannot be configured under the hub directly. You will need to add them as a separate device in the app, then link them to the hub after the setup. The picture below may help you better understand the relationship between these devices.

Once they're set up successfully, you can link them to the hub for the video storage and WiFi backup feature. [Guide] How to Store Tapo Camera or Doorbell's Videos to a Tapo Smart Hub

@Wayne-TP SORTED,  thank you. Also went into my sky router and turned off 5G, added my bell and outside camera to the 2.4G, and then switched back on 5 g. The hub (which is 5G) then had no problem being added. yes
