Hello, I seem to have an odd problem with my H110 since a couple of nights ago (see thread subject). Below are my steps in troubleshooting so far:

1. Check TAPO app: shows H110 as offline

2. Unplug and replug H110: LED blinks white, amber, off, then solid amber. . . ultimately, no change.

3. Wait and observe. After about three minutes of solid amber, aforementioned blinking recurs: white, amber, off, then solid amber.

4. Check Wi-Fi router: Router control center shows that H110 connects to Wi-Fi for a few seconds then disconnects. (I suspect an issue with my Wi-Fi.) (However, Router control center shows that H110 has downloaded 60GB in the last month. . .odd)

5. Reboot Wi-Fi router: same results. White, amber, off, then solid amber.

6. Attempt to reset H110, press reset button for 5 seconds, per apps instructions, no response.

7. Try pressing button for 10 seconds, no response.

 

My conclusion: even if I change my Wi-Fi router, but still can reset the H110, it'll just be a decorative paperweight.

 

TL;DR:

My H110 will neither connect successfully to Wi-Fi nor reset.

May I know what IR appliances have been linked to the H110 hub? Please share their brands and models. Have you synced your IR devices to any third-party platforms, through H110's Matter bridge feature?

 

What's the model of your router?

  @Wayne-TP Thanks for your response.

I don't have the specific model details, but I've used the IR remote learning feature on several devices, (remote controlled lights, mostly). But I did have 3 devices added by brand: 1 Iris Ohyama circulator fan, 1 DaiKin AC (Some Japanese model), and 1 Regza smart TV.

 

As for the third-party connection, I have my TAPO account linked with a Google Nest Hub, via the "Works with Google" connection method. I haven't connected it via Matter.

Checked with the tech team, for your case, i'm afraid a replacement is needed as the hub cannot be reset. To proceed with the warranty, please contact the local TP-Link support
