Tapo C260 terrible nighttime color performance
Tapo C260 terrible nighttime color performance

My Tapo C260 has terrible night time color performance. Here is an image of a person walking very slowly past the camera with average lighting conditions. With medium lighting conditions the C260 performs very disappointing. Even my C120 gives a clearer image of slow moving objects than this. Is this normal and can you fix it with a new firmware update?

@Solla-topee hey, thanks for the support. I've returned the C260 because performance with moving objects in medium light conditions wasn't good enough for a new generation 4K security camera.

@SugarBaby thanks for your help and goodluck with that camera. Hopefully they fix the bad medium/low light performance for you.

@Martin-TP I just received the newest official 1.1.3 firmware, it's the same issues plus now cat meow is not working at all, and it's catching up every banging noise as a glass break event xd. With the latest beta, these detections were perfect. The funny thing I reported it because it was broken with one of the betas, and they fixed it, to release the official new firmware with everything broken again hah
