Tap To Refresh - Ever since firmware update
About a week ago I received a notification on my phone that there was a firmware update for Tapo so I downloaded and installed it like normal. A day or two later I realised I hadn't seen any notifications from the cameras seeing us leave or enter the house etc so I went to check the app but all 4 cameras just say "Tap To Refresh" and I can't view them anymore. Tapping to fresh does a little load icon then back to Tap to Refresh. Up until the firmware update everything was fine. All cameras have a good wifi signal, nothing in my network has changed. I did a bunch of googling and I can see it seem to be a pretty common problem after updating firmware, sadly. I feel like I've tried everything and nothing I do seems to be able to get them working again. Things I've tried:
- Rebooting the hub
- Rebooting my router
- Turning off 5Ghz wifi on my router
- Rebooting phone
- Force closing the phone app
- Clearing cache on phone app
- Checked for update in the app
- Deleted the app entirely and reinstalled it
- Checked for Firmware update for the Hub
- Checked for Firmware update for the cameras
- Removing the battery to the cameras to reboot them
- Turning off wifi on my phone and using my phone's data
- Trying my partner's phone (which also worked fine up until this firmware update)
- Factory reset one of the cameras and then readded it to the hub
- Also I'm not using a VPN or any sort
None of this has made any difference. The cameras still just show 'tap to refresh'. The cameras don't seem to be bricked however. If I put my hand over the lens and I can hear the click and see the LEDs turn on as it turns on infrared mode. I'm out of ideas on what I can try
