Model: Tapo C100   Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3

Why is that your own DECO app gives me the function to make those cameras secure by blocking internet communication when I am at home but your own cameras are programmed to be BLOCKED from LOCAL LAN if they can't send and receive data from your server?

Is this something planned ? if yes, why do something like this to your own ecosystem?

I leave my house then I want remote view, if I am at home then I don't want to expose those cameras. There is no such thing as something 100% secure.

How to "solve" this:

Context: I added the cameras to the "Home Mode" in which they will be blocked from the internet. But the problem is that I isolated them as well, meaning that I cannot communicate with them if my smartphone isn't isolated as well...

Solution: Isolate the phone with the cameras as well.

problem: defeats the purpose of "isolation".

Definite solution: Automatically identify owners and let them bypass "device isolation" when using the app.
