I recently bought C560WS (3 weeks ago). I had set up different pre-defined views and the camera panned/tilted correctly to those views.

The camera also go back to the previous view after tracking in most cases.

But sometimes when I see the live view, the camera is angeled slightly different from the main view that I had set up and is panned towards the neighbour's driveway (it's a cul-de-sac). Not sure what is causing it, maybe it is tracking someone or something and decide to move to that angle and stay there. Everything outside of my driveway is out of the activity zone.

Interesting, the camera seems to think that it is positioned correctly to the main view because when I manually click to position camera to the main view, it doesn't do anything. It does go to other views and move to correct main view after that manually (although the direction is not exactly the same after that, slightly off).

After this issue, camera also refuse to turn full 360 degree manually. It goes until 270 degree maybe. The temporary fix I use is to manually run a pan/tilt correction and it starts working fine after that until it moves again to some other view that get stuck there.

Could a little colder weather be creating some issue with the camera? It is -5 degree celcius where I live and will go up to -20 degrees celcius in peak winter months. The live view is also choppy when camera is doing 360 turns since the temperature plummeted to negative. The live view was flawless when I first installed the camera and the temperature was +10 degrees celcius.

What else could be causing this?

Hi,
You can refer to Q7 & Q8 in the following instructions to troubleshoot the reported phenomenon.
General questions about the TP-Link camera's Pan & Tilt feature

According to the Tapo C560WS's specifications on our official website, it is designed to work in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. Therefore, the camera can function properly at -20°C.

Best Regards
