C260 v C230 Pet Recording
I am looking to install a camera to capture seizure-like episodes that my dog experiencs. Specifically, I am hoping to setup a camera to record only if my dog is detected in the bedroom and ensuite bathroom - I particularly don't want the camera recording people in the bathroom. Is either the C260 or C230 capable of being setup this way without subscribing to cloud storage?

Hi,
According to the Tapo C260's specifications and the Tapo C230's specifications on our official website, they both support Pet Detection. In this situation, you can enable the Pet Detection feature, insert an SD card into the camera, and then set the camera to record detection recordings. Usually, the camera will record the dog after detecting it.
How can I store the Tapo camera video recordings on a microSD card
Note: If you have enabled Person Detection or other detection types, all the detected events will be recorded on the SD card.
Best Regards
