Tapo C210 computer login + two factor login
Hi,
I’ve just bought a C210 surveillance camera and I have a few questions I need to sort out to ensure compliance with Danish law.
So far, I’ve only accessed the system through the app, which works perfectly well. However, since the cameras are installed in a private activity room (pool and darts), we need to set up a two-factor login through a webpage so that no individual board member can log in and view the cameras on their own.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to set this up? It is not a two step verification when another device is added, because then people can still individually log in and check themselves. It is more that when Person 1 wants to log in, then the OTP gets sent to Person 2?

The Tapo camera does not support the feature to be viewed and managed via a webpage after typing in the TP-Link account. You can only log in to the Tapo app with your TP-Link account to manage your camera.

Hi, Thanks for the reply! We will find another more manual way to make a "two-factor setup"
Do you by any chance know how to see how much video storeage is used on the Cloud space? We are trying to figure out how much GB on the SD cards we need, combined with our Cloud solution. But so far I don't know how to see the storage of for instance a weeks footage?
And do you know if you can make a setup where it automatically deletes the footage after every 30th days? (Danish law)

Hi,
1. There is no way to see how much video is stored on the cloud server. For choosing the right SD card model and capacity, the following link may be helpful.
What type of microSD card does Tapo/Kasa Camera support?
2. If you subscribe to the Tapo Care Premium plan, the detection video clips will be stored on our cloud server for up to 30 days, then they will be deleted automatically.
The Tapo camera does not have the feature to delete video recordings stored on the SD card every 30 days. However, if the Loop Recording feature is enabled, the oldest video clips will be deleted automatically when the SD card is full. Or you can format the SD card manually every 30 days to delete all stored video recordings.

Do you know if it is possible to get a notification when a device, for some reason, goes offline (The notification should be sent to the attached email, and not the device)? And could you maybe suggest a setup where people just can't unplug the power to turn off the cameras? We are in a building where they are easy to access do to the low ceiling, so hanging them higher is not an option? I was just wondering if you had any experience?

Hi,
1. Tapo cameras do not support the offline notification feature. If the camera is connected to a router that has a client device disconnect notification feature, you may receive a notification from the router when the camera disconnects from Wi-Fi for some reason.
