After updating firmware or after a power cut my C230 camera rotates away from the position it should be in. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hi,
Usually, after a firmware upgrade or a power cut, the camera restarts and rotates back to its previous position before restarting. Does your C230 rotate to different positions randomly after restarting, or does it rotate to a specific position, but not the position before restarting? Could you provide a video showing the camera's position change before and after restarting?

You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

What are your camera's hardware and firmware versions? You can go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page to find the version info.

Best Regards
