Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.5 build 251104 rek.32487n

I can't understand the problem. I got this camera, connected it for 2-3 days, everything was fine from there, and then the program started to lose the camera and give me a message saying I can't connect. I clearly assumed that the issue was with my network since it's slow with only 1mb upload and 16mb download. I restarted the router, changed the channel on the router to 11 from 6, reinstalled the program from scratch on the mobile, nothing, the problem remains. When I go home and I am on the same network, I have a connection with the camera. When I go somewhere else and connect with data or from another wireless network, the problem returns after 1-2 days and I have to go to the house where I have the camera for the program to connect and to have a connection again for 1-2 days and to be able to connect from another network from my other house 30 kilometers away. As a result, I bought a stupid, cheap camera from TEMO, installed it, and I can't accept that with this camera, with the same operating data and the same way of using it, I have a 24/7 connection from any other network, ( using either wifi or data)to the network that my camera is conected . Can anyone tell me what on earth could be wrong? It supposed I paid more for the Tapo camera to have reliability, but I don't see it. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?? Or should I throw it away and keep the anonymous Chinese camera, which so far has been performing very well.

Hi,
Usually, you can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if you fail to control the camera remotely.
What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?

Please confirm the following information for further analysis if the reported phenomenon persists.
  1. What's the model number of the router that the camera is connected to?
  2. What's the LED status on the Tapo C200 when you fail to control it remotely? Is it solid green? Do you need to reboot the camera to restore the remote control feature? Or can you remote control the camera once you've controlled it locally?
  3. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log, then send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message for analysis.

Best Regards

@Solla-topee 1) I have done everything the post mentions repeatedly and clearly the problem continues
2) The router is the Speedport 2i ZTE with latest firmware
3) The status LED is normal whether I have a remote connection from another network or data  and the upgrades are done normally in the firmware, i have the latest
4) The paradox is another that I connect via a mobile phone that I want to have supervision from another network or with data and it shows it and after an few hours of operation  a message comes out that the program has no contact with the camera but the camera operates autonomously normally and after 1-2 days the operation at the software of tapo returns normally. I have changed dns 2 times, once to 8.8.8.8 (google) and once to 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare), service I have opened the port forward but the problem remains and the irony is that I bought another no-name Chinese camera and it has been working perfectly for quite some time now and without any issues at all.
I bought the tapo c 200 as a brand name and reliable and finally a 8 euro camera is more reliable with software that does exactly the same as the tapo and without any problems I don't know I've started to believe that tp link lose the credibility of the company when an anonymous camera performs better than a brand name

Hi,
Thank you for providing the information. We appreciate your feedback and take your concerns seriously. However, there are various reasons that could cause the camera to show an offline status in different usage scenarios. Based on the current information, it's difficult to confirm whether the reported phenomenon is caused by the camera. We would like to gather more details to diagnose and resolve the reported phenomenon.

  1. From your latest response, are you indicating that the camera appears online in the app and that you can manage it and view the live feed normally, however, after a few hours of operation, it shows offline in the app while the camera's LED remains solid green, then it automatically return to an online state in the app after 1-2 days?

  2. When did you purchase the Tapo C200, and when did the issue first start occurring?

  3. While the camera is in the online state, we recommend going to the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, tapping the Wi-Fi icon, and checking the RSSI value.

  4. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log, then send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message for analysis.

Thank you for your cooperation.
