Hello, I am requesting that the exact same Always-On / pre-recording feature used on the Tapo C460 be added to the Tapo C425 with identical behaviour. The C460’s continuous low-power background recording solves a major real-world issue by capturing events before motion is triggered, something the C425 currently misses too often with PIR-only activation. Adding this exact feature would immediately make the C425 far more reliable for security, especially for fast movement and approach angles, and would significantly increase buyer confidence. From a sales perspective, this would be a major differentiator in the battery-camera market, reduce hesitation from customers comparing models, and drive higher adoption of the C425 without harming the Tapo brand. Many users would gladly accept a battery trade-off in exchange for the C460’s recording reliability, and implementing this feature would directly improve both customer satisfaction and product competitiveness.
