Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if your camera keeps going offline in the Tapo app.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going offline?

Please confirm the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
  1. What's the LED status on the camera when it goes offline in the Tapo app?
  2. When the camera is online in the Tapo app, please go to the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.
  3. You can enable the Auto Reboot feature on the camera's Device Settings > Reboot Camera page and check if that helps.

Best Regards

Like i said WiFi is fine, it is -58 currently, it is also blue on the icon before I press it. I tried to reset, but it has nothing to do with it, the issue keeps coming back. When this offline happens the led is green saying everything is in order.. strange.. And I also tried the auto reboot but imagine that I have set the reboot to run every day at 3 or 4 AM and my camera goes offline at 8AM I have to wait almost 24 hours to reboot? Nonsense…

Hi,
If you currently need to restart the camera every second day, then enabling the Auto Reboot feature may be helpful, as the camera will reboot automatically every day.

If the same phenomenon persists, please provide the following information.
  1. Send me (@Solla-topee) your camera's MAC address via a private message. You can find it on the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page.

  2. Please refer to the instructions to collect the camera log, and reply to us if you have collected it.
How to get the log of Tapo Camera

Best Regards
