Tapo cameras wont work on Starlink
I have several Tapo cameras, not just the TC65 model, all connected to a TP-Link router (EX-141). They worked before for my older router.
I tried connecting the starlink to this router in 3 ways:
1 - EX-141 as an Access Point, LAN to LAN on router and starlink
2 - Double Nat, when Starlink is in the WAN port of the EX-141, but not in bypass mode (bridge mode)
3 - Bypass (bridge) mode, where I connect the starlink to the WAN of the EX-141 router, but with bypass mode activated
on the 3 scenarios I was able to navigate the internet, but the tapo cameras were not accessible from an outside network (5G phone for example). They show as online, but when I click to view the feed it fails and shows a button for me to try again, and when I click it fails again.
On mode 3, which is supposed to be the most correct one, I got an IP from Starlink directly, listed on the WAN part of the router, proper subnet, etc, everything looks right on the TP-Link side.
What could be the issue here? I've seen lots of people using cameras with Starlink without any issues. I really need to have other routers connected to Starlink because they are very far away.
