Hello,

We recently installed 3 C200C cameras in our house but noticed that these sometimes go offline after a while, displaying an amber light.

I've tried basic solutions like unplugging and replugging the camera as well as changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 with a secondary 8.8.4.4. None seem to fix the issue. I suspect the Deco mesh might be a factor, but these wifi extenders have strong connections when tested via speedtests.

Fortunately, the cameras still capture feed even when offline, but I need to be able to view its content any time I open the app. This seems like a common issue among other users but I'd really like a solution to use this tech reliably. Thanks.

Hi,
You can check if the following instructions will be helpful.
Optimize IoT Device Stability with Mesh Networks

Please confirm the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
  1. What's the model number of your Deco? When the camera is offline, do you have internet on your phone when it connects to the same Wi-Fi as the camera?
  2. Do the three Tapo C200C go offline simultaneously, or do they go offline separately and randomly?
  3. How do you recover the camera's internet connection after it goes offline, such as by rebooting the camera, or does it recover the internet automatically?
  4. When the camera is working, please go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.

Best Regards
