TAPO C125 fast blinking blue led
Dear TAPO-team,
i am running two C125 and one C225 in my home.
Since the last firmware update i have tremendous connectivity problems with my C125,
While my C225 is up an running with no single loss of WIFI for years now, my C125 (which i finally placed near the router, to enusure a string signal) is loosing WIFI at least once a day, indicated by a fast flashing blue led (also shown offline in my router).
This really annoys me, cause i like the product very much for it's simplicity and hgh quality.
How can i get over this daily (or even mulltiple time a day) loss of Wifi?
I appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance and best regards

Hi,
Usually, you can follow the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera keeps losing connection.
What should I do if the Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going offline?
Please confirm the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
1. What's the model number of your router?
2. When the Tapo C125 is working, please go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.
3. How do you recover the Wi-Fi connection after disconnecting, such as by rebooting the camera?
If rebooting the camera restores the Wi-Fi connection, you can enable the Auto Reboot feature on the camera's Device Settings > Reboot Camera page to see if that helps.

Hi,
thank you very much for your answer.
Regarding your questions:
1. My Router is a Fritz!Box 6591 Cable.
2. RSSI value is between -30 and -54, so it seems to be OK.
3. i recover by rebooting (pulling power plug and attach it again, as the device is not reachable any more)
If will enable the rebooting feature and log the offline times to come back with more information here again.
Let me know if you would like to see a diagnose log. If so, i would prepare a fresh one.
thx and regards

Hi,
1. If your router has Advanced Wi-Fi settings enabled, like Smart Connect, Wi-Fi Optimizing, or Channel optimization, etc., please turn them off for a try.
2. If you have a different Wi-Fi network available, please factory reset the Tapo C125 and then reconfigure it to connect to the new Wi-Fi network, and then check if the camera works fine.
3. If the same phenomenon persists, please confirm the following information.
1) Please send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message. You can find the MAC address on the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page.
2) Please refer to the following instructions to collect the camera log: How to get the log of Tapo Camera

@mahujo: I've had a similar issue with my TAPO C125! Fast blinking blue usually means it's connecting to Wi-Fi. Did you try resetting it?

Yes, i resetted it a couple of times and switched on daily auto restart, with no effect.

Additional information
while configuring my router to check outcome i tried blocking the C125 from Internet Access (as i am using Apple Home ist still works there).
Whilst i had to reboot (power OFF/ON) the cam at least twice a day, it is running now for the third day without any failure.
Unfortunately i cant use any advanced tapo features anymore, but as a temp workarround until we have found the problem source it may help.
