You can refer to Part 2 of the instructions below to troubleshoot the reported phenomenon.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
Please provide the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
1. Please check if the objects on your drive are moving directly towards the camera. Based on the wake-up mechanism of Tapo battery-powered cameras, the objects moving directly towards the camera may not wake it up to some extent.
2. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us the screenshots of the camera's Detection page, the enabled detection types pages, and the detection zone page.
3. You can go to the camera's live view page to record the events that can't be detected by the camera, then download the video to your phone and send it to us for analysis.
You can upload the video and screenshots to your cloud server (such as Google Drive) or YouTube, generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
