Firmware Issue: Person Detection Triggering Automations Inconsistently
Dear Tapo Support Team,
Since the latest firmware update for my Tapo C560, my smart automations (turning on lights and triggering the H500 Hub alarm upon person detection) have become highly unreliable and only work sporadically. It was working fine before and I also use two other tapo Cameras successfully so I am sure to use the automation correctly.
Technical Details:
* Local AI Detection is working: In the recorded footage, the person is correctly identified and labeled with the "Person" tag. The camera's hardware and AI analysis are functioning as intended.
* Trigger Failure: Despite the correct local detection, the linked Automation (Smart Action) is frequently not triggered. In these instances, no push notification is sent to my phone either.
* Inconsistent Behavior: Occasionally, the automation works perfectly. However, shortly after (without any changes to settings), the trigger is ignored again during identical movement within the frame.
Troubleshooting steps already taken:
* Performed a factory reset of the C560 camera.
* Performed a hard reboot (power cycle) by disconnecting the power for 60 seconds.
* Renamed the camera and recreated all Automations/Smart Actions from scratch.
* Adjusted Person Detection sensitivity to "High" and refreshed Activity Zones.
The issue seems to be a software bug in the event-triggering communication between the C560 firmware and the Tapo Cloud/H500 Hub.
Please investigate this firmware-related regression. Thank you for your assistance.
