If your camera is subscribed to the Tapo Care service, the detection video clips can be stored in our cloud server for up to 7 or 30 days (based on the subscription). Typically, if your camera is offline or stolen, you can still watch or download the cloud video clips if they are uploaded to our cloud server and are within the 7/30 days storage period.

For example, go to the Tapo app > Cameras tab > click on the offline camera, then tap "View Cloud Videos" to access the available cloud video clips.

If your Tapo Camera has a Tapo Care plan subscription, the corresponding detection video clip will be saved to our cloud server after the camera is online and an event is detected according to the detection settings. The retention period is determined by the Tapo Care plan subscription. When the camera is offline, it cannot connect to our cloud service, so detection video clips cannot be uploaded to our cloud server.

When did you subscribe to the Tapo Care plan? After subscribing, have your offline Tapo cameras been brought back online, and have any events been detected? 
Please note that the Tapo Care service only takes effect upon successful subscription; before that, the camera's detection video clips will not be uploaded to our cloud server.
