hello, i am planning to install my tplink tapo c310. i know it is weather proof. but may i ask if its advisable to install it on a place where it is exposed to direct sunlight? will its lens get cloudy over time due to UV damage? will it discolor due to UV damage?

Tapo C310 is designed for outdoor environment (operating temperature is -20°C~45°C (-4°F~113°F)) and uses very durable material, so camera could work under direct sunlight. 

If the camera points to a building or object ,  not point to always the sun, the common environment conditions should not cause any damage on the len of camera.
