C200: ONVIF is not working after update to 1.3.9 !!!
Hallo,
Nic

Hi All,
If your Tapo Camera can't be viewed via ONVIF stream after a firmware update, please provide the following information in this thread for further analysis.
1. The model number, hardware version, and firmware version of the camera.
You can find the info on the Tapo app>camera's Device Settings>Device Info page.
2. Please describe your network diagram, such as the internet cable--wireless router)))(((Tapo camera, phones, ONVIF devices, etc.
Please confirm if the ONVIF device is in the same network as the Tapo Cam, and whether they are connected to the same router's Wi-Fi.
3. What app/program(such as VLC, iSpy, etc.) do you use to stream the camera via ONVIF protocol? Please check if you can stream the camera via RTSP protocol.
I'll then escalate the case to the tech team for further analysis, and I'll update the thread if there is a solution.
Best Regards

Please help confirm the following information about the reported issue.
1. Please describe your network diagram, such as the internet cable--wireless router)))(((Tapo camera, phones, ONVIF devices, etc.
Are the Tapo camera and the ONVIF device connected to the same router's Wi-Fi directly? Can the ONVIF device ping the camera's IP address successfully?
2. What app/program do you use to stream the camera via ONVIF protocol? If you stream the camera via RTSP protocol, can you stream it successfully?

We bought 2 C200 at the same time, which are connected to our local WIFI.
We use these 2 C200 via an app on our iPad.
After the update to the firmware 1.3.9 (for only 1 of the 2 C200 !) the updated C200 is not reachable via ONVIF for the app (iPad).
We changed NOTHING of your network! All other devices (include the 2nd C200 with firmware 1.3.6 are working fine!
Only the updated one (-> 1.3.9) is not working via ONVIF anymore!
And yes: connection via rtsp is working, on both C200.

I do have the same issue with my C200. Just updated to 1.3.9 and out of a sudden ONVIF with IP CENTCOM stopped working. It has been working well but the update broke the functionality somehow.
I am eagerly waiting to receive a solution.

Björn

The model is C200, Hardware version is 3.0, firmware is now 1.3.9 as you know from the thread topic.
Devices are connected to the same Wifi (2.4GHz) and operate behind the same router and operate in the same network (/24 subnet).
Software as mentioned already is IP CENTCOM, which worked well previously.

Björn
