Model: Tapo P100
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 230804 rel 190922

Have 4 P100's set up to control a heating system.

Socket 1 is boiler power, used to prevent boiler cycling if no heat is required

Socket 2 is ground floor pump

Socket 3 is upstairs pump

Socket 4 is hot water pumps

I've also set up groups that I hoped would control socket 1 along with the relevant pump. but the issue I can't see how to resolve, if I switch on groups 1 and 2, so I get sockets 1, 2 and 3 on, that's ideal, but if I switch OFF group 2 it takes socket 1 and 3 off, but as group 1 is still in theory on, I don't want socket 1 to go off, unless there are no groups on, but I can't see a way to achieve that.

Is there a way to check the groups, and if any group is ON, leave socket 1 on until there is no demand from any group?

Thanks

Steve

  @Irish_Steve

Utilizing the "If" condition feature in the upcoming Smart Action 2.0, I believe this scenario can be achieved easily by creating some automation rules.

The automation can be set up as follows.

Rule One

Rule Two

When

Trigger: Any of the triggers can activate the action

Socket 2 Turn On

Socket 3 Turn On

Socket 4 Turn On

Socket 2 Turn Off

Socket 3 Turn Off

Socket 4 Turn Off

If

Condition

/

Socket 2 is Off

Socket 3 is Off

Socket 4 is Off

Then

Action

Turn On Socket 1 Turn Off Socket 1
