Model: Tapo C420S2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi all, I have a question about my Tapo C420S2 cameras connected to H200 hub. Hub H200 is conmnected by ethernet cable at my main router.

I well understand that my 2x cameras are connecting to this hub H200 wifi and not directly to my home wifi?

Because the problem is that one of the camera receive low wifi signal...so I bought a wifi extender but nothing change, because I suppose that the camera always connect to the H200 hub wifi generation and not to my extended wifi?

It's correct?

And how can I solve? This is a big limitation I think, because the H200 wifi generation is not enough to reach big distance.

I'm right?

Tnx

Tapo C420 connects to H200 hub through a different wireless frequency, TP-Link Sub-GHz, instead of the regular 2.4GHz WiFi. You may refer to the suggestion here about How to improve the connection stability of my Hub and its sub-devices
