Hi this might be a stupid question but I can't find anything in the manual

i I have the D235 doorbell running from battery but am looking to get it hardwired.

once it has been hardwired can I leave the battery installed to maintain recording in the event of a power cut or does it need to be removed to prevent overcharging?

many thanks

The doorbell's battery is non-removable. If you opt for a hardwired connection, the doorbell will automatically switch to battery power during a power outage. Once the power is restored, it will revert to its original power source.
