@Bogart99 That would be best in your case. The main rule when using PoE is that devices should support the same/compatible PoE standard (voltage) - otherwise you can cause a damage.

@Pbranly Login the router WebGUI and go to Advanced->Wireless-> Wireless settings: You may have to turn off Smart Connect feature to see a separate 2.4 GHz and 5GHz SSIDs.

@User013 Some FW releases are universal, like this one (for several regions) - further FW updating is not affected (via Tether or WebGUI).

@User013 You can use the FW v1.1.4 form the US support portal - it should work for BE800 EU device as well.
