Model: Archer C2600
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have no idea why TP-Link would choose to no longer provide USB ports for network drives, but they did.  It has caused me a headache because when I went to order a 2300 on Amazon, it encouraged me to get the newer 2600.  The Q&A was apparently "ported" from the 2300 to the 2600, and therefore the information supplied there implied that it had 2 USB ports. I returned the 2600 and specifically ordered the 2300 through another vendor on Amazon.  That vendor chose to ignore what I ordered and supplied me with (again) a 2600 "at no extra charge".  I'm returning that and picking one up locally.  I ~really~ hope that the AC2300 works out!

@BillMc

The Archer A10 is not and "upgrade" of the Archer C2300 but actually a new product.  Yes they share a similar chasis but that is pretty much it.  Its true the Archer A10 does not have an USB ports but it also not marketed with them.  If you found a retialer that does say it has them please let us know so we can correct that descrepenicy with the vendor.

Thank you

@Carl .  Amazon lists the 2600 as a "newer version" of the 2300.  Amazon also often copies the feedback and question and answer information from one version of a product to the next.   In this case, the 2600 had a question asking if there were USB ports, and there were two responses indicating that there were - referring, I assume, to the 2300.  If you can get Amazon to correct the information associated with the 2600, that would probably help people going forward.

@BillMc

It doesn't though the Archer A10 page does not mention anything about the Archer C2300.  Sometimes like items will be groupped together,  For instance Here.  we have 2 models The Archer A9 and the Archer A20 are grouped together.  these items are both routers but have very different feature sets and different transfer rates.  In instances like this the Q and A will cover all products in the group.  With the Archer A10 that would not be the case as it is not grouped with anything else. As for the question answers regarding the USB ports.  Those were all answered by Users not us the manufacture.  Because of this you really need to take the answers with a grain of salt.  We can't control how they answer.  If there was any misinformation on the site page itself we would defiantly have it corrected.
