Powerline Adapter TL-WPA4220 Making Hight Pitched Sound and Losing Connection
Powerline Adapter TL-WPA4220 began making a high-pitched noise and drops the internet connection. I have tried unplugging, changing outlets, etc. to no avail. This single adapter has been paired with my TL-WPA4220 Kit for two years with no problems.

@Tigerinarmy Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. If you have tried a different wall socket, I'm afraid that WPA4220 should be faulty on the hardware and it is recommended to contact the retailer or local support to check warranty for the defective powerline unit, hope this could help~

@Tigerinarmy High pitch noises are usually an indication that the power circuitry of the device is starting to fail - usually due to faulty capacitors. This is not just a nuisance, it is actually also a fire hazard. Since this is usually in the primary (high voltage) side of the power circuit, DIY repair is not very advisable either.
Return for warranty exchange, or throw in the recycling bin.

@Tigerinarmy I have the same problem too. The solution is do not buy TPLINK products. Yes, they are cheap but they are also very poor. And the support is even worst.
