I recently switched to SpaceX Starlink for internet and their support team tells me I can access statistics for the signal by setting up a static route to 192.168.100.1 (the dish). Can this be done with my M9 Plus? Thank you.

@TP-Link Well Starlink said that I will have to use their Router, with the M-9+ connected in their AUX Ethernet port if I want to be able to use their app. "MAYBE" someday, they will allow any Router to work seamlessly with their app, but not today. Also, the Statlink Router WiFi can not be turned off.... yet. Grrr

If your Deco is plugged into the Starlink box it likely is using an address like 192.168.0.1/24. You should be able to simply put 192.168.100.1 into a browser address bar and connect to the Starlink box. (The exact Deco network number doesn't really matter, it will route upstream to the Starlink). If you already tried this and it didn't work, give us more details - how is the Deco connected, what network address does it have, is it in Router mode or AP mode?

@Don.M It is in Router mode. The problem is that the M9+ seems to stop the Starlink app from working. The M9+ will work with Starlink, and let the dish signal pass and transmit correctly. But Starlink needs its app to do basic functions like stowing, and getting satistics, and the M9+ stops the app from knowing the Starlink is connected and online.

" Dish > SL router > TP This allows the app to work. " What's wrong with using it this way? That's just the way I used my M9+, (I have ATT fiber router (Arris BGW210W-700) instead of Starlink). I can access both the Deco and the Arris routers. [Disclosure: I used to have my system running that way, now I have changed the Deco to AP mode so that I can manage the DHCP with a Pi-hole device. Still connected the same.)

@Don.M nothing except I want to not have the SL and TP both sending WiFi out at the same time. If I could turn off the SL routers WiFi, all would be good in the Universe.

OK, I see what you are saying. I don't have a Starlink system, so I haven't had a chance to see what the interface exposes to let you change. An internet search shows some people are running without the SL router; they say you can set up a static routing to get to the SL web page. (My system is in AP mode, so it doesn't give this ability, I don't remember whether it did when I was using Router mode).

Well, I see a post by a TPLINK person who says the Deco M9 cannot set up a static route. Looks like you will have to see if the SL WiFi can be shutoff.

Hi, I was also quite curious about further improvement.
Since Deco does not support static routes yet, we would much appreciate that if there are any other settings, except for static routes, which could allow the Starlink APP to work properly.
