Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20210719 rel.14861

Had Xfinity out to check my speeds. I'm paying for 1.2Gbps. They hooked up directly to my S33 modem and was getting high 900Mbps to low 1000Mbps. Reconnected to the router and the internal speed test, speedtest.net and xfinity speed test all show a range of 500-600Mbps on the 5Ghz band. They told me obviously that its my equipment and left. I began changing all the speed test setting under Qos to 1500 up and down. Turned off all the antivirus setting under Homecare. Went to the advanced settings under Network and selected internet and chose 2500 full duplex. None of these changes made a difference in the speed tests. What am I missing?

@11bravoxray

one thing to check is the WIFI speed of the device as it may be the limiting factor.

Regarding the QoS settings on the AX11000, please review the bandwidth, Application Priority in Standard mode, and no device in High Priority, then reboot the router and confirm. You can check the guide here: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3069/.

What is the speed you can get if you connect only one computer to the AX11000 with an Ethernet cable? Will it be similar to the speed you can get when connecting to the S33 modem directly?

If yes, please verify again which 5G signal are you connecting to when testing the speed, 5GHz-1 or 5GHz-2? Try modifying the 5G wireless settings on the router, such as channel and channel width, find a channel with less interference with your neighbours, and choose channel width as 80MHz, then confirm.
