Firmware Version: 1.5.7 Build 20210819 Rel. 43499

So I tried just about everything in the book when hooking up these deco units. I've factory reset I don't know how many times, and tried switching main units but whenever I setup the units I get to configure the WiFi and then the light goes red. However, when I hook it up to my old router thats connected to the modem it works fine and I get a green light... But when its connected directly to the modem I get a red light.. I've updated it to the recent firmware.

Maybe you could try to do a MAC clone on the Deco:

@TP-Link  My ISP is Xfinity forgot to include that.

How about the MAC clone on the Deco?

(Or you could find the WAN MAC address from the web UI of the old router and manually copy it into the Deco.)

Would it work?
