Hello,

My Archer AX55 router consistently drops the internet connection while renewing the IP address. It seems to cut in and out several times for a few minutes until it finally reconnects and works fine for the rest of the day. This happens once a day on all my devices. Whenever it occurs the following is documented in the system log:

2022-03-25 19:25:29 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267052 send advertisement(RA) with prefix 2600:8800:7180:970a::/64  and mtu <null>
2022-03-25 19:25:28 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267051 receive solicit(RS) from fe80::6d3e:794c:d202:b7ad
2022-03-25 19:11:38 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267052 send advertisement(RA) with prefix 2600:8800:7180:970a::/64  and mtu <null>
2022-03-25 19:11:38 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267051 receive solicit(RS) from fe80::1456:5fe6:3f98:e3c6
2022-03-25 18:55:14 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267052 send advertisement(RA) with prefix 2600:8800:7180:970a::/64  and mtu <null>
2022-03-25 18:55:14 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267051 receive solicit(RS) from fe80::8625:3fff:fe0a:4675
2022-03-25 18:42:52 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267052 send advertisement(RA) with prefix 2600:8800:7180:970a::/64  and mtu <null>
2022-03-25 18:42:52 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267051 receive solicit(RS) from fe80::6d3e:794c:d202:b7ad
2022-03-25 18:42:46 icmpv6[17291]: <6> 267052 send advertisement(RA) with prefix 2600:8800:7180:970a::/64  and mtu <null>

I don't know if the mtu having a null value is part or all of the issue. It appears to be isolated to ipv6. With ipv6 disabled I have no issues. I've gone through and tried all the various combinations for the ipv6 settings in the router and the only ones that work are in the image attached to this message. I have Cox high speed cable internet.

I've been troubleshooting this issue for weeks without any resolution. Thank you in advance for any answers you can provide.

Regards,

Brad
