I have a Wi-Fi extender it linked fine to my 2.4 G but now I'm trying to comment my 5 G HELP do I need to delete the 2.4 G ? In order to do that? Or can I have both 2.4 and 5 G

If its single band range extender model TL-WAXX, then it only support 2.4Ghz wifi bands.
If you have a dual band range extender model RE XX, it can connect both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz bands , you could reset it and reinstall the range extender and connect to 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz wifi band during setup process.
