Is there a difference between using IPv4 or v6?  I have an nVidia Shield TV that supports IPv6, is it better to have that turned on or will that cause a performance issue with the rest of my network?

  @Heff

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Normally IPv6 is more advanced and has better features compared to IPv4. It has the capability to provide an infinite number of addresses.

You might need to make sure the internet service provider supports IPV6 first otherwise the IPV6 compatible devices would not have internet. For the devices that do not support IPv6, they would still get an IPV4 address from Deco in order to have internet access.

Best regards.
