XE5300 satellites slow/disconnecting with firmware 1.2.5
I updated to firmware build 20230530 on my 5 XE5300 units today using the Deco app. Since the update, the satellite units sporadically show as disconnected in the app, and Wi-Fi throughput on those units has dropped severely. I get 450-550 Mbps on the main unit as usual but it drops to about 100 Mbps when connecting to a satellite. The Speedtest app "Idle" measurement on my iPad has gone from 40-42 up to 100. I have recycled power on all the units but that has not helped. I have noticed significant delays loading webpages, etc. throughout the day.

Hi, Thanks for the update and your reply to the support ticket.
I have also reported your case to the senior engineers to see whether they could reproduce the same issue. Hope they could locate the issue as soon as possible and optimize the current firmware. Thank you again for your cooperation so far.
Update:
The unstable issue on 1.2.5 of Deco XE5300 V1 has been fixed on 1.2.6 which will be released very soon. Please pay attention to the official website.
If you want to test this firmware, here is an early-access version of 1.2.6:
Deco XE5300 v1-1.2.6_build_20230613
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

@Paul_2023 Hi, welcome to the community.
Have you also noticed satellite Deco XE5300 would turn to flash red during the disconnection?
Can I have some pictures of the Deco network map and signal source strength on the satellite Deco units, such as:
Did you still remember the original firmware before updating to 1.2.5?
At the same time, I would like to follow up on your case via email. Please check whether you could get an email from us later.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi,
The satellite units typically stay green when the app shows them off-line. That said, the off-line periods are short-lived, and I have not been running around the house to check the status lights when I happen to see one in the app. So far this morning, I have not noticed any satellites off line but in order to check for that I have to monitor and frequently refresh the app.
All the Wi-Fi connected satellites are showing the same reduced throughput. The one hardwired satellite is running at normal speeds.
last week, I updated all the units to what was then the latest firmware, the one that supported the IOT network. Things were working OK after that and I assumed that this weeks release was just a minor bug fix.
I have been getting notifications in my mailbox when you replied to my original post, so email communication seems to work fine

This morning, streaming audio on my smart speakers kept stopping after 5 to 10 minutes. That was pretty disruptive so I decided to roll back the firmware to 1.2.2 Build 20230509 instead of waiting. That seems to have helped. My Wi-Fi screens are back to normal across all the satellites, and the streaming audio has not been halting. I am optimistic this will be OK for now, and I still have the IOT network available. In the future I will wait a little longer before applying the latest firmware.
