Hi, if you are worried about the new firmware, you could manually log into the web UI and update one satellite Deco only. Then switch it as the main Deco to monitor the performance(How to Set up the Satellite Deco or a new Deco to be the Main Deco). If it did not go well, you could share with us what happened, then switch back to the original 1.1.7 Deco back as the main Deco.
As for how to update a specific satellite Deco, you are able to find the IP address of each satellite X5700 on the Deco APP. Then try to log into its web interface via IP address. The password is the same as Deco APP log-in password.
