Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20230530 Rel. 46610

Experiencing an issue where after activating the IoT network and moving all of my smart devices over to the IoT network, four devices still currently show under the "Main" network tab despite being joined to the IoT network.  The Kasa app confirms that they are on the IoT network.

The smart plugs in question (with model, hardware version, and firmware) are:

Outdoor Smart Plug - KP400, 2.0, 1.0.7

Indoor Plug - HS105, 1.0, 1.5.6

Indoor Plug - KP125, 1.0, 1.0.10

There are also several hardwired switches that can't be re-routed to the IoT network, but I'm guessing that is by design.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the new IoT network feature?

Hi,

Update:

The Applied model:
Deco XE75/XE5300-V1;Deco X50-V1.2;

Issue Description/Phenomenon:
After activating the IoT network and moving smart devices over to the IoT network, some users might find that several smart devices still show up under the "Main" network tab despite being joined to the IoT network.

Available Solution:
This issue will be optimized along with the firmware upgrade.
Currently, it could be fixed by the following beta firmware:

Deco XE75/5300_V1_1.2.6_build_20230707

Deco X50_V1.2_1.1.0

Note:

1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding!
2. You can still upgrade to the official firmware if there is any.

  @Halloran

Hi, welcome to the community.

 I did see this feedback once before.https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/612130

Could you please help me submit the APP log as well:

How to submit Deco APP log

(In case the log has been mixed with others, could you please add " for Community" in the subject.)

And a new IOS APP 3.4.21 has been released recently. It is also suggested to make sure the Deco APP is up to date.

Thank you very much.

best regards.
