X50 outdoor doesn't yet have connection preferences

I just added an x50 outdoor to an X55 mesh and the connection preferences option disappeared. I assume because it's not yet supported on the x50 outdoors? Any idea when it might appear? Frustrating to buy new hardware that doesn't have the latest firmware features.
