I have an old Archer C7 AC1750
Would it be possible to convert it into a wifi extender?
I have a 3 outdoor security cameras and I would like to connect them to the wifi extender.

You can set it up in AP mode.

The Archer C7 V2 doesn't support Wi-Fi Extender Mode, so it cannot be used as a universal Wi-Fi extender.
However, it does offer WDS bridging as an optional feature. Please see our FAQ here regarding how to set up and use this feature.
Alternatively, if you are able to connect the Archer C7 to your LAN via Ethernet, you have the option of configuring it as a Wi-Fi Access Point, as outlined in our FAQ here.
If neither of these options provide an adequate remedy to your specific needs, we would suggest considering one of our Wi-Fi extender products as a potential solution.

Followed the instructions and I am unable to connect to the web interface at 192.168.0.1
My laptop's Ethernet port is connected to one of the C7's four yellow network port.
Laptop's wifi is turned off.
Windows 10 is set so the laptop gets IP address from the router.
I have factory reset the router.
Not sure what I am missing.
EDIT:
Working now.
I held the WDS/Reset button while powering up the C7. Maybe that is what is required.
I was holding the WDS/Reset button when the C7 was already running.
EDIT#2
WDS Bridging is not working.
Try to connect to the C7 but cannot get IP address.
