We just purchased cameras and were forced to enroll in the User Experience in order to set up the app. It said we could change that choice, but after searching high and low (help, FAQs, community, privacy policy) I can't see how. What are the specific steps to disable that option - or where can I find them? 

 

Not happy at this backdoor way to push us into an "option" that isn't very optional.

The User Experience Improvement Program is non-mandatory. In the case of the Tapo App, for example, User Agreement & Privacy Terms are mandatory and User Experience Improvement Program is optional when registering for the first download.


If you would like to opt out of this program, you can find the on/off switch under the privacy-related options in the app, e.g. in the Tapo App, the path is Me ->About -> Privacy Settings.
