Unable to access firmware recovery mode on Deco x60
Hello,
I upgraded to firmware 1.5.5 on my Deco x60 v4.6. Since then I've had nothing but problems with devices disconnecting at random, or not connecting at all until I've made them forget the network then reconnect (and even then they'll just have the same issue if they're powered down for a while).
I'd like to go back to the previous firmware but I can't seem to access recovery mode in a browser. I've been using this article as a guide: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2958/
I set my static IP to 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.0, then I hold the reset button on the Deco while powering it on. The LED comes on solid green like the chart in the article says it should. However when I try to access 192.168.0.1 in a browser, I always get this error: "The connection has timed out. The server at 192.168.0.1 is taking too long to respond."
Has firmware recovery mode been locked out on the latest firmware? If anyone has any suggestions for entering this mode I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you
