This has been a long standing problem for me with my XE75, the inability to select my own channels severely irks me, from a network control angle. But I’ve kept the router because it “works”works, and my family doesn’t share my concern… but their opinion, I wouldn’t be able to handle the lack of control as it feels almost heavily restricted. Not to mention, the features they put behind a paywall is available with other routers. And I’ve loathed the subscription model ideology attempts at becoming some sort of standard for casual consumers. It’s simply not right and shouldn’t be accepted in my opinion.
