Model: Archer BE700 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20240823 rel.50098(4A50)

Model  is BE450/BE7200, without this option I have to go with BE7000 PRO
Unable to write to usb hard disk, read only.
smb: prompt can't copy, need XX GB (size of copied file) or more space
ftp: can only write files under 15mb.

windows11 and android are both unable to write.
Windows has enabled all the functions of smb1.0.
Tried admin with password, not working

No problem connecting directly to the hard disk.
tplink archer c2300 No problem.

C2300 sometimes need to unplug the HDD again because some software messes up the HDD and makes it inaccessible.
BE450/BE7200 is not this problem, it can't write from the beginning.

 I tried using a USB flash drive and it successfully wrote
I can confirm that it's a power supply problem.
But my old router C2300 doesn't have this problem, I don't know if it can be solved by firmware upgrade

  @alphald

Consider getting a powered USB hub. Some routers come up short on power to handle a drive.

  @ArcherC8

I bought a power supply for HDD and the problem remains the same
It may be NTFS because my USB flash drive is FAT32
I can't believe that I upgraded from WIFI5 to WIFI7 and there was a regression in functionality!
I wrote an email to TP-LINK but they were not willing to provide any help and told me to go to this forum ( ask questions to other users.
