Model: Archer C8
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 4.0.0 Build 20160517 Rel 44603

Trying to set up Archer C8 as bridge to AXE7800.

Wireless clients connect fine and can see local hosts and the internet

Wired clients can see local network hosts but cannot connect to internet.

Basic setup is working so either (a) I have bad expectations, or (b) I've missed something in the fine print.

Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

Note: I need a wired connection to upgrade a machine without wireless drivers and don't want to relocate two floors down. This should work. If not, please feel free to redirect me to a more appropriate solution.

Update: After upgrading the "test" machine, the wired connection to the internet seems to have succeeded. Must have been software limitation/setup issue. This may not be an actual issue with the router. Further testing awaits.

Hi@A2Zog ,

Welcome to our community.

Is the model of AXE7800 the Archer AXE95?

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—Archer AXE95)))((( Archer C8 )))(((client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

To which router are the wireless and wired devices you mentioned connected?

Are there any errors? Screenshots will help us identify the problem.
