I purchased an RE715X because the Amazon blurb said it supported ONEMESH. After hours of trying to make it work with my LinkSys access point, I learned in a Tech Support Chat the ONEMESH isn't compatible with the LinkSYS AP. As I had an unused used TP-LINK Archer AXE75 I went through the whole process of setting it up for my network. Since I have a Firewall/Router, and a combination wired and WiFi network, the AXE75 had to be configured in Access Point mode. Did that (not a fast process) and the AXE75 has replaced the LinkSYS AP. Then I spend hours following the RE715X ONEMESH setup instructions again and again and again thinking I must not getting the WPS timing correct. Downloaded the AXE75 user manual thinking I must have missed a step ... well I had ... I was supposed to go to the Advanced menu to enable ONEMESH. But there was no such option. Finally in another Tech Support chat, I learned that no TP-LINK router configured in AP mode would support ONEMESH. A restriction not on the AXE75 box, nor in the user manual. Since the AXE75 wasn't purchased for this purpose, I can't return it in protest so I've chosen to document the issue here so the next person can hopefully find this and avoid my lost time and frustration. (Yes, I searched here as I was trying to solve my problem)
