So i just upgraded from an Ax21 to be6500 for fiber and the 2.5.  I had 2 ax21s already. I am keeping one that was in access mode in service still.  The other one which was the main router had usb storage attached to it.

 

Here is my question the be6500 doesn't have usb on it but the ax21 in access point mode does.  Google fu says the ax21 in ap mode can work usb storage but how do i configure it to show up/map/access it on other devices.  It was just there before for VLC android and i did have to map it for windows to see. but it alwasy worked.  Right now on the be6500 it isn't even showing up in the connected storage.

Please confirm that you have correctly configured the Archer AX21 routers to Access Point:How to configure the TP-Link wireless router as Access Point.

 

After switching the Operation Mode from Wireless Router Mode into Access Point Mode, the menu would be changed as the following pictures:
