GE800 Question for TPLink

Ok, 1st issue. On 6ghz network I get rubber banding while playing games. QoS is setup properly with the correct speed. Router is close to my PC and my PC is using Archer TBE552E NIC with the propper driver installed.
2nd issue. My router in the gui says V1.0 however on the back of the router it says V1.6
I went to the Website just like it says download the latest firmware for V1.60 uploaded the bin file hit update, it seems like it updated but after the router came back
it still shows Hardware Version V1.0 not V1.60. >>>> 1.2.1 Build 20250610 rel.39070(5553) Hardware Version Archer GE800 v1.0
How am i supposed to update the router to the propper Hardware Version ?

Ok I fixed it... Finally.. I didn't wanted to gave up after just 2-3 days on the router.
Long Story Short... Go and turn off the Enable PSC under 6ghz settings then select manually a psc channel. I picked 133. Applied and all my rubber banding gone on the 6ghz network...
Shortly after I turned PSC back on and let Channel Selection on auto but it swapped me to 69 and shet start rubber banding again. So I swapped back on channel 133 and while no rubber banding there were some mini spikes occasionally. I turned off the PSC again and my ping was rock solid 7ms constantly.

@IvanRusev I have the BE800 not GE, but I turned off QOS and my speeds increased. As for hardware version, don;t worry too much about it. 1.6 and 1.0 will use the the same firmware

Hello, I did tried that. Along with turning off alot of features 1by1 but nothing helped.
So the problem is only on the 6ghz Network. The 5ghz and 2.4ghz no problem everything works fine.
6ghz I login to CS2 and the rubber banding starts immediately.
The reason I got this router is for the 320mhz channel and MLO. I am in a very congested area with alot of WiFi around me. I get occasional latency spikes with my old WiFi 6 Asus GT11000.
When I 1st got the GE800 everything worked! It was on whatever version it comes with from the box with the Old GUi. In the moment I installed the latest version shet started to break..... And apperantelly you can't downgrade once you get this new firmware... That was super frustrating.. I was like well I can just downgrade like my Asus router but no.
I saw on the forums there is a new beta Firmware so Iam just going to try that and hope for the best.
I really like this router, great price ! menus and configs are straight forward, everything seems to work much better than my old Asus Router especially on the 5ghz and 2.4ghz. MLO seems fine, but now the 6ghz Network is somehow jacked....
If this beta don't fix shet I might just say screw it, return it and get what I should of got on the 1st place ...
Ubiquity Dream Router 7, U7 Pro XGS AP and the PoE++ injector... Enterprise gear is 9 out 10 times much more stable and reliable... Not to mention it's way way more secure.... The Dream Router is a fortified Firewall I don't even know why they call it a router or a cloud gateway it's pure Next Gen FW...Zones Security Policies Nat Policies, application control etc...10gig ports for the AP and the Router... Compact design. Supports every new WiFi 7 feature. The whole setup will cost around 700 Buks and you kind of have to know networking to know what you doing but if you do it's a better setup for sure.

Beta FW didnt fix the issue.... I got the same issue rubber banding on the 6ghz network. However 5.0 and 2.4 ghz... works flawlessly, along with MLO.
After that I tried to hold the reset button with a pin for like 20 seconds to get me what they call emergency firmware update screen but no luck. The router Factor reseted insted...
So now iam debating should i try to wait and see if a new firmware update will fix this or should I return and buy New gear.

I'm personally not quite sure why disabling PSC and fixing the channel to 133 can solve the rubber banding behavior while playing games, but I think it's a good try.
I have also reported this case to the development team, and we are more than happy to escalate your case to the engineers for further analysis and follow-up, if you are willing to investigate the cause.

@Kevin_Z See I am not sure if this is individual case because Iam in a very dense WiFi area and on channel 69 perhaps there is something going on.
That is where the auto channel selection sends me.
But it's been a week now and I have had zero issues when PSC is off and channel manually set to I think 133.
Also keep in mind that was not the case at all on the original firmware the router came on. Only started to happen with the version that changed the GUI to Red.

Understood.
I've reported this concern to the development team and hope they will thoroughly test the firmware in more realistic scenarios.
If you still would like to investigate this further and communicate directly with our engineering team, please don't hesitate to send an email using the above email template.
