Archer T9E not working
So I have a TP-Link Archer T9E wifi adatpter on a dektop running windows 10 and it was running perfectly then the power went out and when I went to reconnect once power was back on. It would not . I keep getting "can't connect to to network. I've narrowed it down to the driver as its showing an old driver 8.35.317.1 and listing Broadcom as the provider. I have removed the network driver ,went in to forget the network, made sure the password was correct. use my phone to hotspot connect which it did, my laptop connects perfectly to the wifi repeater. Checked the setting under CMD and it shows the wifi router so its getting a signal. Ran it in safe mode and removed the adaptor and restored it, also i turned off automatic updates so it would not keep placing the old update on the computer. I have down loaded the current update from the manufactor which does nothing as my computer just wants to over ride it with Broadcom and the old 8.35.317.1 up date and not the current one. I even used ChatGpt to walk me through every step possible. Other then buying a new wifi adapter, it looks like I need to find a (inf.file) to get around the windows automatic Broadcom override. Any suggestions or does anyone know where to find a (inf file)? It seems like my computer does not want to handshake with my adapter since it has an old update.
Thank you for any help.
