Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.5 Build 20241129 Rel. 47521

2 of my 3 mesh points are have had ethernet connection for months and now all of a sudden do not use ethernet backhaul.

I have power cycled them multiple times.  I have checked all settings.. A speed test is limited to 200mbps where previously it was 500mbps.

I have all 3 units on the same firmware.  Nothing in my network has changed.  Not sure why this is happening.

Have checked at the Deco's that there is a signal on the Ethernet cables? Maybe via a switch that malfunctioned or a cable damaged along the way?

@IrvSp Yes.  This is all connected to a TP-Link TL-SX1008 10 gigabit switch.  Connection lights show 2.5gbit connection.

Is that showing going out on the individual ports?

If  you changed ports to the Deco's does it work?

Can you get a laptop connected to check it is really working? I assume plugging the laptop into a port and then the wireless card on it. Then try a browser.

The cable is good.  I connect it to a computer and it works fine.  Switched it to one of the gigabit ports and rebooted the mesh.  Still no ethernet backhaul.

EDIT-  Try power cycling the TL-SX1008 1st (if I'm not too late).  I have two of them stacked together because I need 13 ports.  Once in a blue moon so to speak I find power cycling them useful...

Are you able to take a node and relocate it near enough to connect an ethernet cable directly router to router, (bypassing the TL-SX1008)?  Does this restore ethernet backhaul?  (Then relocate it back and reconnect it as it was)...

At this point I'd suggest contacting TP-Link Support. Possible there is some damage to the 2 Satellites? A power surge/drop maybe?

Wondering if you traded places with the Main Deco and one of the failing ones it the Main Deco would work? Wouldn't have Internet of course, but all other aspects should work? Just a thought, not sure if it would work or even prove anything?

@jzchen Thanks for that suggestion.. It was something I had not tried.  However, it did not change anything.

When you set up your new units please make sure they are set up using one of the examples below for Ethernet back haul
