Deco XE200 no firmware update for more than 1 year
It has been over a year since any new firmware release for the DECO XE200. Are there any more firware updates planned?

Support and our Community teams do not generally get any advanced notice related to firmware release schedules. While Deco can sometimes be an exception, the general rule for firmware is that if nothing is being optimized, patched, or adjusted, there can be long periods between releases. This is because the firmware will be considered stable, and if there is nothing to address, resources will be allocated to projects that require attention.
I do not see in reported concerns with the Deco XE200 currently. Is there anything specific you are experiencing?

To add into this conversation, I'd call the XE200 anything but stable. WIFI interference multiple times daily is an issue for me personally. I spent $1300 on 4 XE200 piers a year an a half ago and I'm ready to walk from this mesh system due to the constant network instability with interference that causes me to have to run optimization 3-4 times daily because my smart tvs buffer and lose network connection. I have reduced my setup to 2 piers now for a 3 story 3000 sq. ft house (including finished basement office). I have tried to hold out for the manual channel selection to the tri-band system, but its become a diminishing hope that this is ever going to happen for this product series so I will take my business for my 2 homes with TP-Link Decos to Ubiquiti so I can actually control how my system operates. I don't blame TP Link for the interference issues as WIFI networks are everywhere, but allow me the opportunity to fix the issue without some lame duck 1 button optimize button that moves from one channel and then back to the original channel just juggling crap service provided by the TP Link piers to work for another few hours before needing manual interaction again.
Would love to get help on this but, this is an environmental issue where my neighbors basic wifi networks from Spectrum or AT&T are powerful enough from 500ft and 100ft away to trash my local wifi network without any ability to correct this but a simple optimize button that will switch channels for the 5G network from channel 36 to 44 and back and repeat the vicious cycle that is a dumb system without manual advanced controls. Please help....

@Carl The XE200 (1-pack specifically) went EOS 8/14/2023, less than a year from EOL I guess?

Those sheets are not generally a part of the FAQs in the US. While in this list, the EOS, which comes after the EOL date, shows 8/14/2023. The records I have are that EOL was in February 2024. I do not have an EOS date on it yet. Also, that was just for the 1-Pack; the 2-pack was still being sold. And while it's now marked End of life or EOL on our website, it will still receive updates.

With BSS Coloring, interference is or should be less of an issue. But that only applies to clients that support Wi-Fi 6 and its features. Legacy devices may still see interference from other networks, as they do not support this particular feature. The reason manual channel selection is not a feature in Deco is because of Adaptive routing and self-healing features are. These two features are meant to ensure that your network is stable, and when interference from other networks is detected, it will automatically use a channel without congestion. As I understand it, the system performs this check once a day, and the button is for manually triggering this process.
