My Dell XPS 8940 motherboard does not have a F_USB CONNECTOR.  Is there any way to utilize the Bluetooth on this card?

Hello @Rdb_999 ,

Welcome to our community.

Is the model of your adapter Archer TBE550E? For the installation process, please refer to Archer TBE550E(US)_V1.6_User Guide (from the page 7).

  @Rdb_999

As Joseph-TP mentioned, re-verifying installation steps is always helpful when installing new PC hardware.

I looked up your PC's motherboard user manual, and it does not appear to have an available F_USB header. As a result, the card's Bluetooth function cannot be used, unfortunately.

However, you can still make use of its Wi-Fi connectivity.

I encountered a similar issue with my Dell XPS 8950, which lacks an available F_USB connector. I purchased a cable from Amazon that has an F_USB socket at one end for the cable from the TP-Link card and a normal USB (A, I think) plug at the other end. I then removed the bracket from an unused slot so that I could run the cable outside the case and plug it into a regular USB socket. It works fine.
