Saturday
Model: Deco BE11000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Im trying to connect using Coax cables, and have added the ScreamBeam Moca connector. Its not the splitter? Im using the POE filter on the port on the splitter. I have tried to change the DNS address but not sure if there is anything i can do on the settings. It could be the coax cable is too long or too old. Worse case sceario, im getting a pretty good wifi connection from the main router. But im wondering if there is anything i can do to my deco in the app to help .

Hi, can I have the firmware version of the Deco BE11000?

How many Deco BE11000 units do you have?

-Are you using MOCA adapters to establish Ethernet Backhaul among Decos?

-Can you share some screenshots of the network map on the Deco App, such as:

By the way, have you noticed any Deco turn red/flashing red during the disconnection?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Happy to announce I figured out my problem. The TLDR was that I had three deco units connected via MOCA Coax and my backyard DECO was connected via WIFI. That was casuing one of my wired Deco units to go offline. So I took the backyard Unit and found one more coax and connected That via Moca Backhaul. So I now have four units all wired via MOCA coax, and that solved my issue. Now the wifi is running so great. I already had decent wifi, but this only enhances it. However, the backyard node was used to help me reach my office in the backyard, so that is one tradeoff im trying to figure out. I think i can place the last node closer to the back, near a sliding glass window and hopefully that can help. But overall, really happy with my moca backhaul, really great speeds and connections.

@David-TP I just posted my update, i ended up removing one node from WIFI and connected it via Moca, and that solved it. my bedroom node which was connected via moca would flash red and be kicked off. ANd that was from the backyard node which was wifi. I took the backyard unit and connected it indoors to a coax and moca, so that solved. But I am trying to get that connection to the office now.
